Hello 5D Parents!
What a blast I had in the game last night! Thank you for coming to watch all your children participate, play and be present! Nights like this make me love what I do even more!
*Math:
- Assessed adding and subtracting fractions and mixed numbers
- Pre-Assessed multiplying and dividing fractions
- We sat one on one with each student to figure out where he/she starts in the unit
- New unit officially started Thursday
*Literacy:
- Our World Changers unit is growing!
- Students are working on Argument and Advocacy
- In their Active Citizen Groups they are learning to ask questions
- Groups are researching HOT TOPIC real world issues!
- All students are looking at both sides to an issue

*Science
- We are still learning about the spheres!
- Atmosphere and Biosphere are our current spheres
- Students looked at the layers of the atmosphere
- We looked closely at all the biomes
- We will look at the geosphere and hydrosphere next week
*Choose Love
- We completed forgiveness with how to apologize
- We began our final pillar, Compassion
*Important Information:
Early Releases on 4/4 and 4/11

Testing will occur in May (dates to come later)
