My name is Shannon DeLello and I am your fifth grade teacher! I've been at SMS for two years now as the Curriculum Coordinator and am BEYOND EXCITED to find my way back home, into our CLASSROOM! Most of you may know me, but for those who don't, I live in Stratham. I love to go to the beach with my family, my husband Jim and my two children, Sean and Lizzie. What have you been doing over these summer months?
I've been busy this August with getting ready to begin our year together. The year is going to start with all of us getting to know one another. Our first day of school together is on Monday, August 31st. I look forward to meeting all of you!
Over the first few weeks of school, we will do many activities to help us get to know one another. Throughout the year, we will do amazing things to learn about...
- Math- Larger whole numbers, all the operations, decimals, fractions, mixed numbers and problem solving through all of these concepts
- Reading and Writing as well as enjoying interactive read-alouds
- Social Studies- Three Worlds Meet, Colonial Times, Revolutionary War
- Science- Matter, Ecology, Circulatory and Respiratory System
