Happy Friday, 5DL Families!
What a great week of learning we have had! Check out what we have been working on.
Math:
-We are continuing +/- fractions with unlike denominators
-Students have worked on Colonial Family Math!
-We will move onto mixed numbers next
Literacy:
-Students shared poems in the DeLoh Cafe on Monday
-We started a new unit called World Changers
-Students were put into Citizen groups to discuss current world topics/events
-Citizen groups also brainstormed Social Emotional issues
Social Studies:
-Colonial families are working on recolonizing in a new place and new era
-This project was introduced to all families and we looked closely at location choice
-This is our final project for our Colonization unit
-We also played Knockout to earn family dollars!
