Can you believe Thanksgiving is next week? This time has flown. Wow! Check out what the students in 5D did this week...
Math:
- Problem solved with decimal multiplication
- Created some beautiful turkeys using multiplication
- Reviewed unit 3
- Took the unit 3 assessment
Literacy:
- Began our non-fiction unit looking at text structures
- Completed a graphic organizer about text structures
- Began reading one of my favorite (and grossest) books about animal adaptations
Science
- Partners worked on an inquiry question (what they wonder)
- Researched the question/performed an experiment
- Created something to teach the rest of the class
- Each pair presented on Thursday and Friday

WONDER movie on Monday! No money should be sent in since the concession stand will not be open. We will eat snack before and be back in time for lunch!
